Academic Advisor and Admissions Coordinator

George Mason University’s Film and Video Studies Program, within the College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA), is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Academic Advisor and Admissions Coordinator. Familiarity with advising is a critical aspect of this position.

The ideal candidate should understand the academic program, academic policies, and the university’s student services within or outside of the program and College. The Academic Advisor and Admissions Coordinator will work with students from the prospective stage through the alumni stage. They are part of a team working to be proactive concerning activities that will improve the student experience in the program.
