Directing

In the Directing pathway, students practice imagining, cultivating, planning, and executing creative visions for documentary, fiction,
and experimental films, as well as other moving image media. 

Courses and on-set experiences develop their leadership and management skills; effective research practices; pitching to potential investors and creative collaborators; directing actors, documentary participants, crew, editors, and post-production specialists; and film marketing and distribution. 

Students work with each other as they hone their unique and authentic voices.
